Sibshops
We have a safe place where young people can talk about their feelings, get advice and feel comfortable
in knowing that they are not alone in the challenges and joys involved in having a brother or sister with
special needs.
This group meets the 2nd Friday of every month at P2P from 6:00 - 7:30 pm

Goal 1: Sibshops will provide brothers and sisters of children with special needs an opportunity to meet
other siblings in a relaxed, recreational setting.
Goal 2: Sibshops will provide brothers and sisters with opportunities to discuss common joys and
concerns with other siblings of children with special needs.
Goal 3: Sibshops will provide siblings with an opportunity to learn how others handle situations commonly
experienced by siblings of children with special needs.
Goal 4: Sibshops will provide siblings with an opportunity to learn more about the implications of their
sibling's special needs.
Goal 5: Sibshops will provide parents and other professionals with opportunities to learn more about
the concerns and opportunities frequently experienced by brothers and sisters of people with special
needs.

Autism Support Group
Everything you want to learn about Autism can happen in this support group. We share and learn together.
This group meets the first Tuesday of every month at Parent to Parent @ 6:00 pm

Down Syndrome Support Group
This group shares all their ideas and has guest speakers monthly.
Meets at Parent to Parent the third Tuesday of every month @ 6:30 pm

Mom to Mom
This is a unique group of mothers who come together to support one another in the good or bad, in
laughter and tears.
Meets the fourth Tuesday of every month at Parent to Parent @ 6:30 pm
