May is the month that we celebrate and honor the diversity in Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities and their contributions to the United States.  The term AAPI generally includes people of Asian, Asian American and Pacific Islander descent and represents cultures from the entire Asian continent and the Pacific Islands of Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia.
